[AIRPORT] Porter Sells its Terminal at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport

Porter has finally sold its terminal at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to a group of investors. The airline will remain and expand on island airport. Conversely, Air Canada is considering pulling out of Toronto island airport.

This is an interesting move and I am curious to see what is going to happen with the airport. When one door closes, another door opens. This new group of investors appears to have deep pockets and have the potential to really change the face of the airport. Though their biggest obstacle may be getting approval from the city to make any significant infrastructure changes.

However, it may be possible that the airport opens its doors to other airlines. I am very curious to see what is going to happen to the airport, because it can potentially be a game changer. Or the reverse can happen and we remain at status quo. Either way, I plan to follow the story of how things progress at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
